ARRIVAL IN RIJEKA
You can arrive in Rijeka from three main land directions as well as from the sea and from the air. We are well connected with the rest of the world through a number of airline companies. The extraordinary quality of the Croatian motorways will ensure a pleasant trip.
Our dental studio is in the very center of Rijeka, right on the pedestrian zone. There are several parking areas nearby, as well as all the restaurants, shops, bars etc.
HOW TO REACH US
By car
The extraordinary quality of the Croatian motorways will ensure a pleasant trip. We advise you to check the Road Conditions Report before you begin your journey. If you are arriving from Italy, Slovenia or Austria then you have to drive through Slovenia and follow the road for Rijeka. Entering Croatia, just follow the signs for Rijeka and drive to the city center, park your car in one of the parking areas and find us on pedestrian zone, nearby the city clock tower. By air
With a great choice of close-by airport destinations, you can choose to fly with many of the world’s leading airline companies, as well as low cost carriers. All these airports are well connected to Rijeka by train and bus. We can also arrange for you a private transfer from the airport directly to our dental studio or to your accommodation. The nearest airports: Rijeka Airport - 26 km, Pula airport -105 km, Trieste - 115 km, Ljubljana - 137 km, Zagreb - 167 km, Treviso - 217 km, Venice - 222 km.
By bus
Rijeka is connected to larger Croatian and European cities by regular international and national bus lines. Our dental studio is just 200 m away from the main bus station in the center of the town.
By train
The central railway station is located close to the city centre. The information about train schedules can be found on the Hrvatske željeznice (Croatian Railroads) web page or at the information point at the station, or just contact us for more information. If you have time for sightseeing, you can leave your luggage in the left-luggage office located inside the station.
TRANSFER
We can organize a transfer for you if you are arriving from the airport, everything can be arranged according to the agreement.
ACCOMMODATION
For all our patients that have to overnight in Rijeka for dental treatments, we can offer accommodation in apartments and hotels for very affordable prices. All the apartments and hotels are situated in the center of the city by walking distance, for very reasonable price, starting from 30 € per apartment. Apartments are all new or newly renovated with Wi-Fi, air condition, heating in winter time and all the kitchen utensils as well as bed linen and towels.
GASTRONOMY
The ecologically clean Kvarner region is the basis of the rich offer of healthy food and diet.
Thanks to the Mediterranean and maritime influences, the cuisine of the coastal area (Primorje) is based on fish, shellfish, crabs, mollusks, lamb, pasta, Mediterranean fruit and vegetables, spices, olives and olive oil, chestnuts (maruni) and wine.
